The secret of the universe is in the song of birds But only if you’re tuned to it, so listen to the words A tweet for when the sun is out, tweet tweet for when it’s not A cheep means that it’s chilly, and a caw says that it’s hot
‘Scree’ says screaming Eagle when he’s really having fun Whistle says an Osprey when he’s found a Salmon run Peep peep means a chickadee is just too tired to think Adding ‘chit’ means anything except the kitchen sink
So when you’re out there wandering, listen for the pondering of contemplative, meditative, indigenous and those non-native birds of a feather, speaking together, some perhaps forecasting weather Predicting tides, giving Condor rides, wings beat Morse code at their sides
Learn the language of a Boobie, he’s no Loon, his throat is ruby Understand them, helping hand them, don’t let people go and ‘man’ them Talk with birds, learn their words, it’s not so hard when done in thirds Join the conversation, the Earth-wide celebration, come and be a part of the avian nation
You will know it when you’re done, all who (walk swim fly or run)-will speak as one!

author's note: OK, the website is complete. Sure, I'll add stuff from time to time as I continue writing, but this new site on weebly is done. Two straight weeks at my computer desk! And if you somehow read it all and still thirst for more, there's my cool blog at: http://littleshell.earthsourcemedia.org
If you love the new website, you can share it with your friends too...
